The Polti 690 steam cleaner we purchased is going great, I am really happy with it. 
I bought it mainly to take the double handling out of vacuuming and mopping floors.  It works great as a steam vac on tiles
I have used it to clean grout, clean the bathroom and am loving it for windows.  It works great for taking kids handprints off the glass.  I also found that spraying a bit of vinegar and water onto the shower screen about ten minutes before you steam it makes the soap scum come off really well, without the use of harsh chemicals.  The last thing I used it for was for steaming the beds and pillows in an attempt to kill any kinds of mites - it is very easy to do.
Anyway as you can read I have been using it a lot and think it is great.

My floors are all an unglazed light grey tile with light grey grout. I removed all the brown tracking through my house by using the steam and vacuum alternately. Even the grout is light grey again! The bathroom has also received a total facelift. Magic machine!
The glass in my wood heater and oven door are now clear again!
Last night I cleaned our car upholstery and today I sold the car!
And the cleaned upholstery was basically dry!

I’ve been using the Polti Lecosapira on my floors which has completely replaced my old mop and bucket for nearly 2 years.
We have a huge house and my mop was killing my back every time I had to mop the floor. I find using the Polti steam vac so much easier to use. It’s easier on my back and the result is so much cleaner.
The machine also purifies the air as I clean, and the whole hose smells clean and fresh.
I had considered buying one of the cheaper steam only models on the market at the time, but I’m so glad for the money I spent on this one.  It was worth every cent.
